Trellis — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Trellis (formerly published as "Habits Tracker") is built so that your data belongs to you.

What we collect

Nothing. Trellis has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. We operate no servers.

Where your data lives

Your habits and logs are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is available, the data also syncs through the private iCloud database of your personal Apple Account — infrastructure operated by Apple that only your devices can read. The developer has no access to it.

What leaves your device

Nothing, except the iCloud sync traffic between your own devices and Apple's iCloud, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. All insights (trends, correlations, nudges) are computed on-device.

App Lock

Face ID / Touch ID protection is handled entirely by the system. Biometric data never reaches the app, let alone anyone else.

Deleting your data

Delete a habit to remove it and its history everywhere. Delete the app (and its iCloud data via Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage) to remove everything.
